![]() The two talk, and Kouji promises to see Kaoru play at the start of summer vacation. He’s shocked to learn that she writes her own music and performs at the station every night. Mid-song, Kouji passes by on his bike and asks Kaoru what she is singing. The next night, Kaoru plays her guitar and sings at the bus station in front of her house where she sees Kouji every morning. Kaoru is upset but Misaki promises to find more about him for Kaoru as she and Kouji both attend the same high school, despite Misaki never going to class. ![]() Thankfully, Misaki pulls Kaoru away just in time to save Kouji. Kaoru chases Kouji down, pushes him onto the ground, and awkwardly spouts random facts about herself. ![]() In the Japanese version, we see how her lack of social interaction impacts her ability to talk to new people after an uncomfortable encounter with Kouji one night while she is playing music for Misaki.
